 Here at Bees Knees Guest House we like to offer our guests a little bit more than the ordinary Guest House, B&B experience.
As the property was built in 1928 it still retains many of its original features, like the tiled fireplace in the guest lounge, and its high ceilings. We have sourced many items of antique or period furniture which we hope you will enjoy. The whole property has been tastefully decorated combining old and new to give you our guest, the ultimate luxury and comfort a b and b could offer.
 Breakfast and evening meals are served in the conservatory dining room which over looks the garden.
For guests who are not "Morning people or who find it difficult making small talk with complete strangers, we have provided separate tables. These can easily be re-arranged however for large groups of people wishing to sit together. We have a family of squirrel's who delight and entertain our guests each morning while they dine on the nuts we put out for them. If you're really lucky you may be able to see our resident family of hedgehogs or see fox cubs which sometimes stray into the garden.
Beyond the Conservatory Dining Room, is the garden. We have a lovely patio area where you can sit and relax. During summer months if you would like to eat your breakfast on the patio, please feel free to ask and we will be delighted to serve you in the garden. When weather permits, we will be serving BBQ evening meals in the garden, where guests can either dine in the Conservatory or on the patio.
Guests are reminded that this is a non smoking establishment but smokers are welcome to smoke in the Garden.
We have a cat (Ollie) he can be timid around strangers. Ollie is not allowed into Guest rooms. Please do tell us if you have an allergy against fur and we will keep him out of your way.
Off Road Guest parking is available to the front of the premises.
Sadly we can not take children under the age of 18 as we are a licensed guest house, or pets (except guide dogs). Disabled access is very limited, due to the location of the bedrooms being on the first floor.
